Yesterday, the 21st of June 2023, the annual book awards in the Netherlands, the Silver Pencils and Silver Brushes were announced, and Anoush Elman and I are really very happy with the fact that the jury's awarded our book Misjka with a Silver Pencil and illustrator Annet Schaap with a Silver Brush for the artwork in our book. A double prize! A double party!
